Alexis' mission & vision

Building a Strong Seaside For All

As a lifelong resident of Seaside, I have always been deeply committed to the well-being and progress of our community.

Over the past four years, I’ve had the privilege of serving you and working to build a stronger, more vibrant Seaside for all.

Together, we have achieved significant strides in key areas vital to our community’s future. We have invested in small businesses, creating an environment where local entrepreneurs can thrive.

Our infrastructure projects and historic park investments have revitalized our city, prioritizing residents and preserving treasured spaces.

Through partnerships with higher education institutions, we launched a paid internship program, offering university students invaluable experiences in local government, bridging the gap between education and real-world application.

Community safety has been a fundamental focus. We implemented innovative technology and enhanced emergency response capabilities to create a safer environment. Our investments in mental health services and Community Social Workers address the root causes of crime and support our most vulnerable residents.

In response to recent winter storms, I introduced a climate action plan prioritizing environmental resiliency, positioning Seaside as a leader in sustainability.

For the first time in 20 years, Seaside is seeing new housing development, addressing our housing crisis and meeting state mandates.

I am a proud of the Seaside we see today. My goal is to ensure that Seaside continues to grow and prosper, with a focus on what matters most to our community.

But our journey does not end here. With your support, we will continue to build a thriving, inclusive, and sustainable Seaside for all.

Our progress must continue, and to achieve this, we must stand united.

I hope to earn your vote and your trust as we work together for a better Seaside.

Best,
Alexis for Seaside City Council
